Dan Sapienza

Dan Sapienza is an attorney, dad of two boys, and board game designer who has built a career helping entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profits thrive. After earning his law degree from George Mason University, Dan embarked on a varied journey that included advising a member of Congress on health and business policy, lobbying at the Colorado legislature, and co-founding a tech startup. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into the challenges organizations face and shaped his practical, solutions-driven approach to law.

Though experienced in litigation, Dan quickly realized that his true passion lay in building long-term relationships with clients and helping them proactively avoid disputes. Feeling constrained by the traditional law firm model, he launched Poudre Legal Advisors in Fort Collins, Colorado, to do things his way. Today, he serves as a trusted advisor to businesses and non-profits, using his deep understanding of the intersection of law, business, and policy to help his clients succeed.

When he’s not practicing law, you can find Dan spending time with his family, exploring new local music, or geeking out over board game rulebooks. He’s passionate about empowering clients to run their businesses with confidence and is proud to call Northern Colorado home.
